ABOUT TARA
I'm Tara, a Los Angeles-based psychotherapist who believes healing happens through connection, curiosity, and creating space to truly understand ourselves.
My approach combines traditional talk therapy with mindfulness, movement, and opportunities to connect with our surroundings. Alongside in-person and virtual therapy, I offer outdoor walk-and-talk sessions with wonderful horses right in Los Angeles, and traditional psychotherapy in a peaceful setting with horses nearby.
Whether we're sitting together or walking outdoors, my goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and more connected to yourself.

Walk & Talk
Therapy with Horses
Healing through connection, movement, and the grounding energy of horses.
There is something uniquely calming about being in the presence of horses. Their sensitivity, awareness, and ability to respond to their surroundings invite us to slow down, become more present, and reconnect with ourselves.
Horses have hearts significantly larger than our own, and like humans, their heartbeats generate an electromagnetic field. While we're still learning about the connection between horses and the human nervous system, their gentle presence can offer a powerful opportunity to slow down, feel grounded, and become more aware of ourselves and our emotions.
I offer walk-and-talk therapy as well as traditional in-person psychotherapy sessions in a peaceful outdoor environment surrounded by horses. Whether we are walking, sitting, or simply sharing space with these remarkable animals, the experience offers a different setting for reflection, emotional healing, and personal growth.
My therapeutic approach incorporates inner child healing, parts work, movement, and self-exploration, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
No riding or horse experience is necessary. These are psychotherapy sessions enriched by the natural environment and the presence of horses.
Located in the Los Angeles area, serving Atwater Village, Silver Lake, Echo Park, and surrounding communities.
